Put: 2 miles up Stagecoach road at an old bridge, take out 1 mile below Tide below the ledgy rapid at a crumbling bridge. Not a AWW/SSW run, mix of a couple.
Fun mostly easy Class II with two spicier II+s, one at the beginning, one at the end.
Opening rapid can be road scouted and looks more dangerous than it was, actually pretty direct and straightforward down the middle or slightly right. Rick tried a sneak route far right and took a swim, I got to practice easy rescue, was nice.
Final rapid runs far left. Huge standing wave at the very end, need to be prepared to brace. Glad I had the warning from Rick or I’d have gone over.
